FiveM beekeeping script · New release
Beekeeping V2
The FiveM beekeeping job script for ESX, QBCore and Qbox. No menu that spits out honey after a timer — players place real hives, slide the frames in by hand, smoke out the bees, spin the combs and fill every jar themselves.
From an empty field to a jar of honey
Seven stops, each one played out in the world with its own props, animations and sounds. Click a stop to jump straight to it.
Gear up
Hive, bees and tools from the supply depot.
2Place
Find an allowed area and set the hive down.
3Fill
Frames in, bees in, the timer starts.
4Feed
Sugar water when the bees ask for it.
5Harvest
Suit on, smoke them out, pull the combs.
6Process
Uncap, spin and bottle at the station.
7Sell
Cash or bank at the honey buyer.
Everything in one shop
A farmer next to the fields sells the whole kit. This is the real shop UI from the script — fill the cart, change the amounts and check out.
Hit ADD on a few items, then CHECKOUT — the demo wallet really pays.
Your prices, your stock
Every item, price and pack size lives in config_shop.lua. Frames sell as a set of four, because one hive takes four.
Cash or bank
Pick which account the shop charges. Players never buy more than they can carry.
Ped, marker or target
Shop keeper, ground marker and blip can each be switched off. With ox_target or qb-target the marker becomes a target eye.
Honey you made yourself
Raw combs sell cheap. A jar is worth five times as much — but only after the combs went through the station. Three steps, all with the mouse, all in the world.
Uncap
Lay the combs on the table, hold the mouse and pull the fork over every comb until the wax is off.
Spin
Drop the combs into the extractor, then pull along the line to keep it turning.
Bottle
Hold an empty jar under the tap, open it and take the full jar.
Several at once
Put as many stations side by side as you like. A busy one stays locked until the player is done.
Placed in-game
/station lets you move a station into place, press Enter and paste the block into the config.
Blip per station
Show one on the map and hide the rest, or keep a secret station for whoever finds it.
Not everywhere
Hives only go into the areas you define. Nobody builds an apiary on Legion Square, and your fields don't turn into a wall of boxes.
- Use the Apiary Map — every allowed area shows up as a circle on the map.
- Use the Beehive inside one of them. A preview follows the player.
- Confirm with E, cancel with X. The player kneels down and builds it.
2 hives per player and 10 per area by default. A full area sends the player looking for another one.
Open it by hand
At their own hive the camera moves above the box. Players work on it with the mouse instead of staring at a progress bar.
- Press E at the hive and click the roof — it slides open.
- Drag the four frames down into the box. Each one snaps in with its own sound.
- Back outside, press E again to let the bees in. They start buzzing and collecting.
Near their hive players see a bar with the time left. Anyone who was offline is told on join how many hives are ready.
A reason to come back
At a random point of the production the bees ask for sugar water. A sign appears over the hive and the owner gets a message. Whoever shows up gets the full harvest.
| Production | Full combs |
|---|---|
| With sugar water | 4 of 4 |
| Without | 1 – 2 of 4 |
Poured in with G. One switch turns the mechanic off and every harvest comes out full.
Angry bees sting
Anyone next to a hive that was not smoked out loses health every few seconds. The bees never kill, but they make the point — so a harvest starts with getting dressed.
Suit up
Use the suit from the inventory. Shoes, trousers, jacket and gloves go on piece by piece with clothing animations, then the helmet. Male and female outfits.
Smoke them out
Pump the smoker at the hive. When one side had enough, the player is sent around the box. The buzzing fades once the bees calm down.
Pull the combs
Open the roof again and drag every frame up and out. The full combs land in the inventory.
A hive lasts 5 harvests, then it falls apart. New frames and bees are needed after every harvest — all three are config values.
Always know what the bees need
Status bar, progress bar, key hints and notifications all come in the same honeycomb look. The demo below runs through collecting, sugar water, smoking and a break-in.
The bee walks the comb
A bee crawls across the cells while the hive fills up, and a jar, smoke or a thief icon waits at the end.
Keys that fit the moment
The hint at the bottom only shows the keys that do something right now, mouse buttons included.
Or your own notify
Route notify, helpnotify and progress bar to whatever your server already uses.
Cash or bank
The honey buyer runs his own trading post. Put jars and combs on the counter, see the payout before you sell and choose where the money goes.
Press MAX on the jars, pick CASH and SELL.
Jars pay five times more
$50 per honey jar against $10 for raw combs by default — the station is worth the walk.
Payout before selling
Players see exactly what they get and where it goes before they hit sell.
Anything can be sold
Add more items with their own price and picture to the buyer's list in the config.
Somebody else's honey
Turn it on and full hives become a target. It is built so the owner always has time to react.
- The thief needs the suit and has to smoke the hive out like the owner.
- Breaking it open takes 10 minutes at the hive. Walking away cancels it.
- The owner gets a message and a blip on the map the moment it starts.
- Success pays out half the combs. Then the thief has to lay low for a while.
Off by default. Hives of offline players can be protected and an extra tool can be required.
Ten beekeeping items, all included
Pictures, ESX SQL, qb-inventory and ox_inventory entries ship in _items/.
Every item name can be changed in the config.
Beehive
hive
Placed inside a beekeeping area. Lasts 5 harvests by default.
Beehive Frame
beehiveframe
Four go into every hive, the bees build the combs on them.
Bees
bees
The colony. Moves in after the frames and starts the timer.
Sugar Water
sugarwater
Poured in when the bees ask. Decides whether every frame comes out full.
Bee Smoker
smoker
Calms a finished hive so it can be opened. Not used up.
Beekeeper Suit
beekeeper_suit
Use it from the inventory to dress up. Stops the stings.
Apiary Map
apiarymap
Shows and hides the allowed areas on the map.
Dirty Honey
dirtyhoney
Full honeycombs out of the hive. Sell them or spin them.
Empty Honey Jar
emptyhoneyjar
Held under the tap at the honey station.
Honey Jar

The finished product, worth five times the raw combs.
Tune the honey economy, not the code
The values that decide how much honey your server makes, with their defaults.
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Collecting time | How long the bees need per production, random between a minimum and a maximum. | 1 – 2 min |
| Frames per hive | Frames that go in, and full combs that can come out. | 4 |
| Hive uses | Harvests before the hive falls apart. 0 keeps it forever. | 5 |
| Hives per player | How many one player can have placed at the same time. | 2 |
| Hives per area | Set per zone, together with its centre and radius. | 10 |
| Stings | Health lost per sting. Health never drops below the floor you set. | 5 every 8 s |
| Jar fill time | How long the tap has to stay open for one jar. | 9 s |
| Abandoned hives | Hives nobody touched are removed after this many days. | 7 days |
Built for FiveM roleplay servers
Own props
Beehive, roof and beekeeper helmet are custom models streamed with the script.
Sound everywhere
Buzzing that gets louder as you walk up, roof, frames, smoker, scraping and the extractor — every volume in the config.
Survives restarts
Hives, owners and timers are stored in the database and come back exactly where they were.
Target or marker
ox_target and qb-target are detected automatically. Without them, markers and a key press do the job.
Nine languages
English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Chinese ship with it.
Only nearby
Hive props spawn within 150 m and are removed further away, so a busy field costs nothing across the map.

After Beekeeping V1, we rebuilt it with props
Beekeeping V1 turned into one of our most requested FiveM job scripts. Server owners kept asking for the same things: more to do at the hive, more to see in the world, and a honey economy that does not end at a timer. So instead of patching V1, we built Beekeeping V2 from scratch.
- Custom props — our own beehive, roof, honey station and beekeeper helmet, streamed with the resource.
- Hands-on beekeeping — open the roof, slide the frames in, smoke out the bees and pull the combs with the mouse.
- A full honey chain — uncap, spin and bottle honey at the station, then sell jars to the honey buyer.
- Built for roleplay — allowed zones, sugar water, bee stings, a suit and an optional theft system.
Before you buy
Do I need an MLO or a custom map?
No. Hives go into areas you define by centre and radius, and the shop, buyer and stations are placed by coordinates. Any open field works.
What is the difference between escrow and open source?
The escrow version ships with config, locales, inventory, database and item files open while the core stays protected. The open source version has no escrow at all, so you can read and edit every line.
Can players just place a hive and wait?
They can, but they lose honey. Without sugar water only one or two of four frames come out full, and a finished hive has to be smoked out before it opens.
Can the bees kill a player?
No. Stings stop at a health floor you set in the config, and stinging can be switched off completely.
What happens to hives of players who quit?
Hives nobody touched for 7 days are removed automatically, so abandoned boxes don't block the areas forever.
What changed from Beekeeping V1 to V2?
V2 is a full rewrite. It adds custom beehive, honey station and helmet props, a camera view to work the hive by hand, sugar water, a bee smoker, stings and a beekeeper suit, a honey station to uncap, spin and bottle honey, a honey buyer UI and optional hive theft.
Which frameworks and inventories does the beekeeping script support?
ESX, QBCore and Qbox are detected automatically. Supported inventories are ox_inventory, qb-inventory, codem-inventory, tgiann-inventory, core_inventory and origen_inventory, with ox_target or qb-target optional and oxmysql for the database.
Where is the documentation?
The full setup guide, config reference and item list for Beekeeping V2 are on our GitBook.
How does support work?
Through Discord. After the purchase you automatically get the customer role and access to the support channels.
